JacopoBenci.com

JACOPO BENCI lives and works in Rome.
His work encompasses photography, video & film, installation, performance. It has been shown in Italy, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, The Netherlands, Russia, Thailand, USA.
He studied art history, anthropology, English and American literature, film history at  the ‘Sapienza’ University of Rome, where he graduated with a thesis on Michelangelo Antonioni.
He is Senior Research Fellow in Modern Studies and Contemporary Visual Culture at the British School at Rome, where he was Assistant Director Fine Arts from 1998 to 2013.
